Prayer for my Daughter

As a mother to a girl, I see every day her strength, self-assurance and independence and daily say a prayer (if not more) that she will never, ever lose that.  This is a moment just like that.

*Just a note: I get asked periodically whether digital scrapping is "cheaper" than traditional scrapping or what I spend. Normally, these kits look like they'd cost me over $20 just to do this page.  But, with sales that sites run (Monday specials on Design House Digitals for example), I was able to get two of these kits for $1 each.  Just an FYI for those considering starting.

Journaling reads:
I adore this picture of you for so many reasons. The memory of how happy you were when you got your new umbrella; how you really wanted the Cars umbrella but they only had one, so you were stuck with Hello Kitty.

But mostly, I am struck by what an individual you are here- you aren’t worried if someone will laugh at the umbrella you picked out, that it’s up inside the house or anything. You’re free & everything you do screams “This is me!”

A prayer for you, my daughter, is that you will never lose the bravery and light that shines in every thing you do and every step you take.

Like it? Leave me some PeaPraise please!
