Chili-Rubbed Flat Iron Steak

From my friend Cassie's blog, here's a fabulous dish!  We made this with flat iron steaks that came looking like steaks as opposed to something you'd slice after cooking.  And, we made them on the grill, but prepared them just as she describes.  They were wonderful.  And I'm looking forward to the one leftover one, cut in to pieces and mixed with my egg for a sandwich after I go for my run tomorrow morning.  Yum!

I served this with the Pioneer Woman's Garlic Roasted Potatoes.  They are heavenly and perfect to occompany steak.  I had a bag from Costco of 3 types of small potatoes and it worked perfectly for the dish.  Served with a red Meritage wine from Trader Joe's and it was wonderful!!!

Sorry, no calories or pictures- we had a wonderful evening catching up with an old friend who was in town and it just didn't work out.  Maybe next time as I'll most definitely make this again!
