Muffin Tin Monday: Nest, Seeds & Flowers

Theme for today was: Seeds, Plants & Flowers.  My kids colored birds while I got lunch ready.  We also practiced the ASL sign for bird & talked about all the colors of birds we've seen while they drew.  Lunch went over pretty well.  They were excited about the idea & my preschooler was able to remember the theme to tell Daddy when he got home for lunch. 

A- Pretzel Sticks; B- Trail Mix (for looking for birds) made of mini chocolate chips, mini marshmellows & roasted almonds C- Grapes D- Blueberries E- A "Nest" made of leftover ground turkey filling for calzones & F- A Grilled Cheese Flower
