Amazing to me what we're finding. I wish I'd known to ask my great grandma questions years ago. But, we're so lucky to have the work that her brother did and then passed on to her, deeming her "the family historian". I am going slowly, seeing how this will all fit together. Beautifully, I hope.
The first lines are the names of those pictured. Below reads:
This photo is circa 1916 and is taken in front of Solomon Ross’s home in Rossburg, Ohio. Solomon and Christina Ross were Sarah’s parents. The occasion is most likely Solomon & Christina’s 50th wedding anniversary. As of 1999, this house still stands and is occupied, but has not been maintained.
