Month in Review: February

I thought about this on the 28th, then forgot.  Oh well!

What books and/or magazines did I read this month?

Read "Homeschooling: The Early Years"

What movies, television shows, plays, etc. did I watch this month?
Not a lot again!  We didn't even get around to watching what was on the DVR.  But I did get all introduced to Bubble Guppies on Nick Jr!

What fun things did I do with my family and/or friends?
We had an amazing family vacation to Florida which was perfect and needed.  When we returned, my mother-in-law came for a visit and the kids got to know her in a little more relaxed setting than previous times we'd seen her which was nice for everyone.  Finally, we visited with some great friends (J&T) for dinner together.  It's such a blessing to get these opportunities for now.

What gifts did I give and/or receive?
I was really excited to send my goddaughter her crocheted dragon!  I also sent a little Friend of the Month package to Sandy (a Thermal Tote from Thirty-One).
What special or unusual purchases did I make?
Again, nothing all THAT unusual.  On our trip, I did buy myself a refillable, nice Mickey writing pen.  It makes me smile!

What illnesses or health concerns did I have?
Goodness...  Was doing fine until our trip when I somehow managed to get Whooping Cough.  Since the kids and husband were all fine, that's what the deduction was.  Feeling some better but definitely not 100% yet!

What were my accomplishments this month?
I got back to the gym some and ran 3 times on the cruise which I was excited by!  I also managed to recruit 6 new business owners to my Thirty-One team and together we had team sales of $4750 this month!  I am super excited about what this means for these ladies and also for my own development within Thirty-One!

What were my disappointments this month?
I did not succeed yet in fighting the dental insurance on my root canal.  And I didn't get my son's quilt finished or even started.  So, hopefully this month.  I also have a small project I was hoping to complete for a friend but no one is providing the input I need to do it, so I can't.  Finally, I wanted to complete our trip book from Europe and still am working on those pages.

Anything else noteworthy to include?
We had major ice storms that knocked out power and cable to the area- cable for 4 days!  Eeek!  Ready for spring!
