Rain, Rain, Stayed Away...

We found out yesterday about the awesome "Hometown Hero" program our local minor league baseball team has going on.  They honor a recently returned or to be deployed servicemember by giving them VIP passes, a tour of the facility before the game and treating them to a bag of goodies and some "Dragon Dollars" to use to on anything at the park.

We had a wonderful evening and were SO thankful the rains that brought floods, closed roads (and even my son's preschool today!) held off for a great game tonight.  The kids loved it and honestly so did we.  Thank you Hometown Team!
