Recently, I've finished: #36- House Rules by Jodi Picoult
I really, really enjoyed House Rules, more than the last few Picoult's I've read. I enjoyed that I felt completely torn and appalled at so many places in the novel.
Angry Housewives turned in to be a great book. I didn't breeze through it, but it's definitely a chick type of read, though I'd hesitate to call it strictly chick lit. It was a great one though and one I probably won't forget quickly. I'm saddened in some ways knowing that I'll never have that type of friendship, in this life of mine... But, I have different types and that's okay too.
So, whatcya readin'?
Hey Amy! I finally started the Percy Jackson series. I am so out of the loop with childrens/YA lit... I have no idea what I'll do when I finally decide to apply for a library position! I just started book four last night! :)
ReplyDeleteHey Amy! I have an idea for you for a chalkboard 'wall'. You could build a large wood frame with some wood trim. Then use a piece of sheet rock or canvas or something like that and do the chalk board that way. Or, even more simple check out an old school that is getting rid of their old chalkboards. I once got one for free that way but ended up giving it away b/c I just didn't have the space for it. Hope this makes sense! =)
ReplyDeleteHey there! I am currently reading Hoot by Hiaasen and The Heart of The Matter by Emily Giffen
