So, rain + cast = inside day... or at least until our cast protector arrives.
We had a good morning, then worked on cutting the ribbon for this project while my toddler took her nap. My son did great if I held the ribbon and he cut it with his good hand.
Then, we read Rainbow Rob
& watched Signing Time Box of Crayons. I truly love the Signing Time series. If you haven't checked it out with your child, you should. We've been using it since my son was small, but he still loves watching and learning new signs. Check your library- ours carries the whole series!

I really love this project because I love rainbows so much. I'm adding this to our list for our color unit we are doing. The weather here...it's finally stopped raining. The kids actually went outside and made sun-print pictures today.
