Readers Untie!

We've been gone for a little while I swear, it's not that I'm neglecting my blogging duties!

I'm thinking that one of the days each week, I'll blog about what I'm reading.  Since I don't have new layouts & we got some sort of rough news tonight causing me to not be in the mood to create, I'd tell you what I read on our trip.  My goal this year is to complete 75 books.

I finished up Guernsey Literary & Potato Peel Pie Society (on audio).  Wonderful book.  I loved the format of the letters going back and forth exposing characteristics and parts of the story.  I'm also a fan of audiobooks done by multiple narrators when the writing is in this style.  A fabulous, much recommended read.

I'm 90% through Those Who Save Us also on audio.  It's a much more serious, tougher material and make you truly think about the experience of the average German citizen in Nazi Germany in a much different way than I ever have before.  And I'm definitely interested in the time period, but by no means a scholar.

Still on my nightstand is:
