Cranberry Apple Crisp

One of my absolute favorite fall recipes.  I also love to tell myself it's healthy because there is fruit in it ;)  It works as a dessert, as a sweet breakfast or as a base for a nice scoop of ice cream!

Cranberry Apple Crisp
Serves about 10

Ingredients:
2 cups cranberries
3 cups sliced, peeled apples
1 cup sugar
1 T lemon juice
1/4 tsp salt
1 c light brown sugar
1 c quick cooking oats
1/2 cup flour
5 T room temp butter


Mix the first 5 ingredients in a large bowl.  Turn in to a greased
9x13 baking dish.  Mix together the remaining ingredients to make the
topping.  Pour over top of the fruit mixture.  Bake at 325 for 45-60
minutes or until top if brown and crispy and fruit is tender.
